What is Viking Warrior Day?
Viking Warrior Giving Day will be an energetic, inspiring, 1,854-minute virtual gathering of alumni, parents, staff, students, faculty, and friends in support of a better Salem State.
What can I do to help get the word out about Viking Warrior Day?
Become a VWD Ambassador! Sign up through our Ambassadors' page here. And, post about Viking Warrior Day on your networks, like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, using #VikingWarriorDay and spread the excitement!
How do I Make a Gift?
On Viking Warrior Day, come back to this site and make a gift. You can also learn more about the impact of gifts on campus as well as the donors—like you—who make them. Is there a minimum donation amount?
No, gifts of any size count toward the overall total and are welcomed. Participation is every bit as important as individual gift size.
Where do gifts go?
You can choose from among many giving opportunities at Salem State and all gifts on Viking Warrior Day count. Gifts to any fund make a vital difference in the lives of students. If you don’t wish to prioritize any one cause, you may donate to The Annual Unrestricted Fund, which allocates donations to the area of greatest need at Salem State.
Can I give a gift of stock in support of VWD?

Is it safe to make a gift online?
Yes. Viking Warrior Day utilizes up-to-date technology to capture gifts that are PCI Level 1 compliant. We are not storing, nor are we able to access, your credit card information. Additionally, any information collected during Viking Warrior Day will be used only by Salem State University.

Is my contribution tax-deductible?
Yes! All philanthropic contributions to the Salem State University Foundation are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Will I receive a receipt for my contribution?
Yes! Salem State University will send you an electronic receipt for your contribution shortly after you make your gift.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card is charged immediately upon finalizing your gift on the site.

Are international donations accepted?
At this time, Salem State cannot accept international gifts made through this giving page. Please visit https://participate.salemstate.edu/vwdgivenow to make an international gift.
